The Gay Rights debate continues...

First of all let make this quite clear I am tired of hearing about gays wanting equal rights and that they are being persecuted and and belittled and ridiculed for a lifestyle that they have chosen. The argument that they are born "gay" is a moot argument with me, okay. I will not debate it.

Let's talk about LYNCHING, GENOCIDE and CAPTIVITY on American soil and elsewhere.

Native Americans, Mexicans, Blacks were all victims of lynching because of the COLOR of their SKIN and BECAUSE of THEIR HERITAGE and ANCESTRY in the early stages of America.

They were BORN that way and for that reason alone, were brutally and mercilessly murdered. Men, women and children were taken, literally, dragged from their homes, by angry mobs of people who were so full of hate ONLY because these people were not the same race and color as they were. These innocent people being murdered, weren't thieves, weren't prostitutes, weren't drug dealers were not living as homosexuals. Yet, they were killed only because they were were not "White." Please think about that for just a moment.

And lest we forget, the Asians in America, during WWII, were also taken from their homes and everything they owned because of their RACE, not the lifestyle they were living. They were placed in camps (for their safety) the government so argued. A vile excuse.

Let's take a look at the millions upon millions of Jews that were dragged forcefully from their homes, stripped of everything and then brutally tortured and murdered and/or were starved to death. JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE JEWS! Not for any other reason but because they were Jews.

I am not saying this to anger the gay community or their supporters, I am saying this because they DO NOT have the right to scream, cry, whine and march down streets and have the AUDACITY to compare themselves with the people who were ruthlessly murdered because of their race and the color of their skin.

These races of people, were not bothering anyone, were not forcing their culture on anyone, they lived quietly and look what happened to them? Can you honestly compare their deaths with the gays whining for equal rights? Really? Where is the intellect in that comparison?

I want you to hear this song that was sung by Lady Day herself, aka... Billie Holiday. Hear her words, read the words and you tell me if there really is a comparison?

Southern trees bear strange fruit
Blood on the leaves
Blood at the root
Black bodies swinging in the southern breeze
Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees
Pastoral scene of the gallant south
The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth
The scent of magnolia sweet and fresh
Then the sudden smell of burning flesh
Here is a fruit for the crows to pluck
for the rain to gather
for the wind to suck
for the sun to rot for
the tree to drop
Here is a strange and bitter crop

Federal Government Preparing for War... With the American People

Published on Mar 19, 2013

DHS has bought 2.2 billion rounds of hollow point ammo. HOLLOW POINTS ARE NOT USED FOR TARGET SHOOTING. This ammo is illegal to use in the military because it violates the conventions. It's only use is domestic use, against the American people. This is enough ammo to shoot everyone in the United States four times.

The Rapture do you believe it will happen?

As a Believer in Jesus Christ and reading and studying the Word of God, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that this day will come.

Are you ready?  Or will you be the one looking around wondering what happened? Where did all the "Christians" go?

Think about this, when the rapture does occur, Believers will be taken from their vehicles, from planes, etc.  Chaos will undoubtedly follow, mayhem and death.

I urge you to read the Word of God, and ask Him to show you the way. Ask Him into your heart, before the day comes when it will be too late.

I was a bit skeptical of the Left Behind book series, but have read it twice now, all 12 volumes, and the men who wrote these prophetic books, so far have been spot-on, with things that are unfolding right now, today.

Read them, you will not be disappointed.  These books are for believers and non-believers, alike. Great writing, lots of action, and so forth.

Think, pray and ponder about this, won't you?

Female genital mutilation on the rise in the United States

Coinciding with a rise in the Muslim population and mosques. And honor killings. viaFemale genital mutilation on the rise in the United States-report – TrustLaw.
NEW YORK (TrustLaw) – The ancient, brutal practice of female genital mutilation (FGM), once considered primarily a problem of the developing world, is a growing threat to girls and women in the United States, according to a new report.
The United States has longstanding laws against the practice of FGM on U.S. soil and in January, passed a federal law against sending young women outside the country for so-called “vacation cutting”. However, girls living in America increasingly are at risk of the procedure both at home and abroad, according to research by Sanctuary for Families.
The New York City-based non-profit organisation, which specialises in gender-based violence, said up to 200,000 girls and women in the United States are at risk of FGM and that the number is growing.
“People in the United States think that FGM only happens to people outside of the United States, but in all actuality, people here all over the country have been through FGM,” said Jaha, 23, formerly from Gambia and now a survivor and advocate against FGM.
“Kids that were born in this country are taken back home every summer and undergo this procedure,” she was quoted as saying in the report.
The study cited analysis of data from the 2000 census that found between 1990 and 2000 the number of girls and women in the United States at risk of the procedure – which involves the partial or total removal of external female genitalia – increased by 35 percent.
Most prevalent in immigrant African and Middle Eastern communities, FGM generally originates in the belief by some cultures that it preserves a girl’s virginity before marriage and discourages her from promiscuity after she is wed. In many communities, a girl is deemed unfit for marriage if she has not undergone FGM.
The report said FGM has been performed in the United States by health care providers who support FGM or do not want to question families’ cultural practices.
Whether performed covertly on U.S. soil or in ceremonies held in ancestral homelands during school vacations, the procedure often is done by traditional practitioners using crude implements, such as razor blades and broken glass. They often operate in unsanitary conditions, far from medical facilities, without anaesthesia, antiseptics or antibiotics.
The physical and psychological effects can be devastating and even fatal. FGM can cause severe pain during sexual intercourse, haemorrhage, shock, complications in childbirth and fistula. It can also lead to depression and anxiety.
New York’s metropolitan area is home to more women and girls who have been mutilated in female circumcision ceremonies — or are at risk — than any other U.S. city, experts estimate.
Sanctuary calls for an end to FGM and Vacation Cutting – go to link to read or download our full report,”Female Genital Mutilation in the United States: Protecting Girls and Women in the US from FGM & Vacation Cutting.”

Twinkies return expected by summer, new Hostess owner says

The new owner of Hostess Brands Inc's snack cakes hopes to have Twinkies back on U.S. store shelves by this summer, according to a member of the purchasing group.

“Our family is thrilled to have the opportunity to reestablish these iconic brands with new creative marketing ideas and renewed sales efforts and investment,” Daren Metropoulos, a principal at his family's private equity firm, told Reuters in an email on Tuesday.

“We look forward to having America's favorite snacks back on the shelf by this summer.”

Daren's father, Dean Metropoulos, teamed up with Apollo Global Management to offer $410 million for Twinkies and other snack cakes. Their offer was to serve as the minimum offer for the business but no other bidders emerged.

Besides the iconic Twinkie, Hostess' snack cake line also includes cakes, which include CupCakes, Ding Dongs and Ho Hos.

I rarely eat these goodies, but when I am craving them, I want them. I was very sad to see the Hostess store closed. It was basically a store that had breads, and all the above at lower costs because they were like a week from being expired. Didn't bother me one bit. And my boys LOVE Twinkies, so do I, but my favorite snack food has to be the the Ding Dongs!! I wonder if they would consider making the chocolate covering, dark chocolate????  Yum!

Granted, I only ate Ding Dongs or Twinkies maybe once every six months? They are quite fattening, lol!  So, this is why I bought them at the store, because they were sold individually or by two in a package.

Good news for us all.

Afghan Policeman Kills Two U.S. Troops Visiting Police Station

The Associated Press:

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - Officials say an Afghan police officer opened fire inside a police station while U.S. forces were visiting, sparking a firefight that killed two U.S. troops and three Afghan policemen.

Monday's incident in Wardak province appears to be the latest in a series of insider attacks against coalition and Afghan forces. It comes a day after a deadline given by Afghans for U.S. special forces to withdraw from the province.

Deputy provincial Police Chief Abdul Razaq Koraishi says three Afghan officers were killed. A coalition military official says two U.S. forces were killed. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to disclose information pending an official statement.

The majority of U.S. troops in Wardak are special operations forces.
It's time to bring ALL of out troops home.  Enough American blood has been shed.
They do not want us there, it's obvious, and it's time.

Obama State Department to Honor Islamist Anti-Semite With Courage Award

The Obama State Department is going to honor Egyptian Islamist anti-Semite Samira Ibrahim as a “Woman of Courage.”

Apparently, in the age of Obama, posting anti-Semitic tweets and cheering the 9-11 Benghazi terrorists will win you a courage award.

For those who only believe gays are being killed.... you know who you are.

Islamists stormed a factory in the Kano region of Nigeria and slaughtered thirteen Christians for not participating in Muslim prayer. Eight Christians were killed for refusing to recant their Christian faith in Jesus Christ.

Can you believe that heinous woman is going to be honored by our government? This is appalling and a detriment to those that lost loved ones in Benghazi and 9/11. This is traitorous, I can think of no other word that is fitting.

Our government is a vile disgrace. Traitors to our allies and to the American people, especially those that support Israel.

I think it pretty much speaks for itself. Christians are being killed on a daily basis and the media doesn't blink an eye or seems to even give a rats-rear-end about their deaths or the deaths of Americans dying aka Benghazi or the ongoing war.

And, yes, I am going to harp on this and become redundant, however, if a Muslim is protesting or a gay person or people are protesting they jump all over it and cry for sympathy for them. And they label anyone that doesn't side with them as "haters, racists, homophobes, bigots, etc."

So be it. I stand for Israel, America and for my precious God. I will not submit nor will I crumble under pressure. My strength and courage comes from the Lord.

Gay Students Say They Feel Threatened By Chick-fil-A's Presence, But School Board Votes Vendor Can Stay

A group of liberal students at the University of New Mexico tried their best to get Chick-fil-A kicked off campus because they claimed the eatery made them feel "unsafe." The students even took to theatrics, such as crying and hyperventilating, before a vote was held on whether the restaurant could stay or not- despite a majority of students having no problem with them on campus.

Gay students claimed that they even felt threatened by the mere sight of students and faculty carrying bags with the Chick-fil-A logo on them. KRQE Reports: "Chick-fil-A landed on the hot plate last week after a student group voted to kick the restaurant off campus claiming its very presence made gay students feel unsafe.

The issue stems from the Chick-fil-A president's controversial comments on gay marriage [supporting traditional marriage] last year.

The board governing the Student Union Building took up the issue with a vote Wednesday "'Students started expressing to me they felt unsafe to go into their own campus union building,' Sen. Miquela Ortiz of the Associated Students of UNM said. 'When they said they felt uncomfortable on campus, I felt it was an issue that I should bring up.' "'Please look at this from a moral standpoint,' said Brittany Arneson, a student against having Chick-fil-A on campus. 'Look at the kids that are here that are telling you, 'I do not feel safe on this campus anymore.'" But, UNM student Tess Henderson told KRQE that her friends who work for Chick-fil-A were trained to treat each and every customer with the utmost respect, regardless of who they are. In the end, the student union board voted, 8-3, that the chicken franchise could stay at UNM.

Protests are nothing new to the restaurant.

Really?? They felt "threatened" they were "hyperventilating" "crying?"  What the heck were they afraid of? That the chicken being cooked was going to jump out of the fryers and attack and eat them? Or that the customers or servers were going to turn into brain eating zombies and rip them to shreds? Or are they afraid that there is a bottle of cyanide under the counter and if a gay person shows up they are going to be poisoned??  LOL!

I have yet to see any person EVER being mistreated at Chick-Fil-A.  I have seen many races come and go without a scratch on them and I have seen gays, goths, cowboys, etc; And none were harmed in any fashion or form. They all left content and with full bellies of delicious food.  (And btw, their coffee is excellent.)

What the gays hate is that the president had an OPPOSING VIEW and they couldn't stand that fact. How dare he stand for traditional marriage.  They support freedom speech as long as that speech coincides with their own.  If anyone has an opposing view, they are immediately targeted as: Haters, racists, bigots, homophobes, etc.

I found this so hilarious and ludicrous!  Good grief, how pathetic.  They need to find something more constructive to do with their time.

Funny how the media leaped on this story like vultures, when only a few gays were protesting, but totally ignored the fact that thousands of people showed up at these restaurants, NATIONWIDE, supporting the views of the president and enjoyed a delicious meal while doing it.

MY REVIEW:  This is Book Two in the series, "Alaskan Courage."

I had not read the first book, it wasn't difficult to get a feel of the characters because almost immediately the author gave you a huge sense of how closely knit they all were and their unconditional genuine love  that they would do anything within their power to protect each other, including risking their lives.

I absolutely LOVED their great devotion to each other as well.

At the very beginning Piper, our heroin, was determined to clear her brother's name and prove his innocence regardless of how damaging the evidence built up against him was. It seemed like he really did, in fact, murder the woman.

I must admit, Piper took a bit of getting used to. She seemed to be a little too pushy and immature, and her disregard for police protocol.

However, She finally grew on me and I admired her tenacity to prove her brother's innocence even if it meant interfering in an ongoing investigation, which at times, you wanted to yell at her to, "STOP!" I thought she was going to mess up everything, and at times, she almost did.

Her heart was in the right the place, all she cared about was her brother's freedom and to prove his innocence. Nothing else mattered and nothing was going to get in her way.  It wasn't immaturity but it was her great love for her brother that kept her going.

This novel definitely has a lot of suspense, some VERY interesting twists, and actually surprised me in the end. I did not expect it at all. I love being surprised in a book.

Aside, from the investigation, love is in the air, however, our main characters, which I believe are four, share a commonality, unrequited love. They have no idea about how the other person feels, it's interesting to read and see it unfold in your mind.

I did enjoy this book and I fell in love with the McKenna family and all the main characters because of the deep devotion they had for each other, God and the love of their little town in Alaska. There is nothing like a small town where every really does know your name and your personal affairs.
