Funnies for the weekend

Have you ever heard that a dog or cat  'knows' when an earthquake is about to hit?

Have you ever heard that a dog or cat can 'sense' when a tornado is stirring up, even 20 miles away?

Do you remember hearing that before the December tsunami struck Southeast Asia , dogs started running frantically away from the seashore, at breakneck Speed?

Do you know that dogs can detect cancer and other serious illnesses and danger of fire?

Somehow they always know when they can 'go for a ride' before you even ask. How do those dogs and cats get home from hundreds of miles away?

I'm a firm believer that animals - and especially cats and dogs - have keen insights into the Truth.

And you can't tell me that dogs can't sense a potentially terrible disaster well in advance.

Simply said, a dog just KNOWS when something isn't right... When impending doom is upon us.

They'll always try to warn us!

We should have listened.

Debbie, yeah those were pretty funny.

Have a great weekend!

There were Obama bumper stickers all over in my area, but almost all have vanished.

Leticia said...

dmarks, I still see a few here, but not many. Maybe people are finally realizing what a weasel Obama really is?

My 15 year old Dachshund does not bark at people, anymore. He is much too busy sleeping, and peeing on the floor. He has his priorities.

Great 'toons, Leticia.

Nice ones Leticia.

And I have seen a program a long time ago about dogs that can detect certain types of cancer, hard to believe but it's true.

I saw a car today that had a bumper sticker of a "W" with a red circle around it and shlash through it.

Our duly elected 43rd President has been out of office for 3 years now. I guess "Bush Derangement Syndrome" has gone so far to keep the hatred alive in this person. Either that or it was a member of Al Qaeda driving it.

About cats and human illnesses....I note that our cats were very solicitous when Mr. AOW's health was tenuous all those months after I brought him home from the skilled care facility. Now, our cats are back to "normal," so we know that Mr. AOW's condition is stable.

As the saying goes, "Cats know things."

Here in Liberal Land (the D.C. metropolitan area), Obama bumper stickers are springing up like dandelions. **sigh**

Next stop Ronald Reagan's and Breitbart's grave. That dog will be there for days.

dmarks said...

Yes indeed, Kid. After he relieves himself on the Obama yard sign. the dog will go to the Reagan grave, to wait forlorly for the return of such great leadership.

I saw for the 3rd time a woman in a burka her on Long Island and I also saw on the hood of a van a crescent moon symbol.
So I have 2 bumper stickers that are magnetic that I can remove because you know lefty's and their hate for anything anti Obama, yet hey can proudly display whatever they want so too bad.
One says "Obama's energy plan" with a stick figure riding a bicycle and the other one says "Your Wallet, the only place the democrats want to drill"
I am still waiting for someone to say something because I am ready but so far nothing. I am thinking people are agreeing.
lol That last one Leticia,perfect.

Leticia said...

Thanks all! Glad you enjoyed them.

Lisa, not a bad idea on the magnetic signs.

Leticia said...

Please, not that song, dmarks! Oy vey!

Loved how you saved the best for last.

BTW I still have a Bush/Cheny 2004 bumpersticker on my car. I refuse to remove it until BO is out of office.

I can't explain it, but I do pay attention when one of our animals notices something. Just one of many examples: back in our college days, one of our cats was staring intently out our second story apartment window. Turns out some fool was stealing gas out of our car in broad daylight!

Cube, oh my gosh!! I hope you all stopped that person!

My cat has become very sensitive to anyone that comes near our home now. I will know before they even knock on the door that someone is near.

She truly was traumatized and hasn't let her guard down. My poor baby.
