Jesus' name 'obscene'?

An international human rights organization for religious freedom fears that Pakistan's new law that censors text messages may hinder the spread of the gospel.

In order to protect young people from hearing what it considers to be "obscene" words, the government of Pakistan is proposing that the use of such language be blocked. But as Jonathan Racho of International Christian Concern (ICC) tells OneNewsNow, "Jesus" is included on the list.

"Those names include 'breast' [and] 'homosexuals' and some offensive words that some cultures also don't want used," he reports. "But it is outrageous for them to consider the name of Jesus Christ as offensive."

But considering Pakistan's track record in dealing with Christians and Christianity, Racho is not surprised at the ban.

"In Pakistan, Christians are considered like third-class citizens," he explains. "Pakistani officials don't protect Christians -- and the laws of that country, which are based on sharia, ensure that Christians are subjugated and oppressed."

He uses the country's blasphemy law as an example, as it is often misapplied to put Christians in prison on false charges of committing acts against Islam and its prophet Muhammad. The maximum penalty for breaking this law is death.
Right. So where is their tolerance? Muslims demand it here in the United States, and unfortunately our government, local officials and of course, liberals, acquiesce to their demands. But in their own Sharia Law, ISLAM run countries, ZERO tolerance. So much for the "religion of peace."

Yeah, that makes bloody sense.

This is absolutely brilliant!! Hilarious!  I am sure, as always, I am going to tick off a few liberals.  But this was too funny not pass up.  

AP) – Ryan Sulzman walks alone through the woods behind his parents’ home in Binghamton, New York. It’s one of the few things that gives his troubled soul peace these days. “I like hearing the birds sing…and the crickets” he confides. “It takes my mind off the horrors I witnessed. These are…these are things I still find it hard to talk about.”

Like many young people who volunteered to join the nationwide Occupy movement, Ryan has been having a hard time being back in “the world.” “When we were ‘in country,’ we became used to a certain routine. The free meals served in the camp soup kitchen, the free wi-fi, the rhythmic sounds of the drum circles, and the crackheads who’d let you buy food with their EBT cards in exchange for cash for drugs. I’d give them, like, $10 and they’d let me buy $40 in food. It was a sweet deal.”

But it wasn’t long before Ryan, and so many young people of his generation who had volunteered to do their duty, saw the ugly side of human nature. “The day they cleared out our camp, this one cop…he…he yelled at me. ‘Move! Move! Move!’ He had a bullhorn…the sounds still haunt my nightmares. And then…” Ryan’s voice trails off, as tears well up in his eyes, “then he grabbed my Tumi duffle bag and literally, like, pushed it into my arms. I totally could have been knocked over it I wasn’t wearing my Urban Outfitters boots.”

A hero comes home.

Still, Ryan considers himself fortunate. “I had a friend, Eddie…’Lucky Eddie’ the guys in the camp used to call him, because he’d always get lucky with the drunk girls who’d passed out. The day the camp was disbanded, he got…pushed by a cop. I saw him at the triage we set up in the Starbucks across the street. There was a vacancy in his eyes. ‘Lucky Eddie’ was gone – he was an empty shell of a man.”

Ryan, who has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and is currently receiving disability, says that all he wanted when he returned home were a few words of thanks from the people he left behind. “I didn’t ask for a parade; none of us did,” Ryan says, as he attempts to restrain the anger building inside him. “But when I came home, when I walked through the door, and there were my parents who hadn’t seen me for two months, and they gave each other a look, like, ‘oh crap, he’s back.’ They hadn’t even known if I’d been alive or dead the past two months…except, of course, for the text messages I’d send, and the Skype videos. Oh, and they both subscribe to my Youtube channel. And, of course, there were the money transfers I had them make so I could upgrade my iPhone. But other than that, I could have been dead for all they knew.”

Ryan isn’t alone in his restrained bitterness. Across the nation, returning OWS vets are finding readjustment difficult – owing in large part to what they see as an indifference on the part of their loved ones to their ordeal. One such disillusioned OWS vet, a 25-year-old who would only give his name as Nick when the we interviewed him in front of the Krazy Kures medicinal pot clinic in Culver City, related his difficult tale. “My mom erased every single program I had Tivo’d. EVERY SINGLE PROGRAM. Sure, I can catch up with “Dexter” on Video on Demand, but those episodes of “Conan” are GONE. I’ll NEVER be able to see them again.”

For 31-year old OWS vet Jacob Berman, the wounds run especially deep. “My parents didn’t dust my Star Wars collectibles, not even once. Do you know what two months of dust build-up can do to a Limited-Edition Deluxe 30th-Anniversary 12” Boba Fett in the Great Pit of Carkoon Collectible Action Figure? I don’t even know if I can list it as mint on Ebay anymore.”

“Ebay…I don’t think I can ever go to that site again without getting flashbacks,” says 23-year-old Occupy Portland vet Caleb Henner. “It brings back all of the feelings of being alone, afraid, isolated out there at the front.” At first, Caleb was reluctant to tell his story. But at the urging of his psychologist, he agreed to give us a first-hand account of his harrowing ordeal.

“It was a cold night…I thought it might rain, so I was inside my REI tent bundled up in my Cole Haan waxed cotton parka. We were all on edge…there were reports that there might be an overnight ambush by city workers coming in to clean the public fountain we were using as a communal toilet, so we were all pretty tense. I was trying to keep my mind off things by browsing Ebay on my iPad, and I found this SWEET Game of Thrones one-sheet signed by Peter Dinklage! It was only $450, but I knew that would change if I didn’t use the “buy it now” option. So I tried…I tried to buy it…and…my mother’s credit card was declined. It had been pushed beyond its credit limit. It was like being in a nightmare. I kept screaming, NO! NO! I called my folks…it was 2am, and I got their answering machine…I was like, ‘COME IN, COME IN, THIS IS CALEB, DO YOU HEAR ME? OVER! COME IN! PLEASE GOD, I NEED HELP! PICK UP, PICK UP!’ But they didn’t. They were probably fast asleep. I never felt more alone in my life. And the Game of Thrones one-sheet…it…it sold to someone else within the hour…”

Caleb’s words trail off, as he’s comforted by his lawyer, who has initiated a lawsuit against Caleb’s parents for the Peter Dinklage atrocity. “This isn’t how these boys should be treated,” says Sheldon Gerbinsky, whose law firm is representing several OWS vets. “We’ve gotten reports of parents cynically using their children’s time at Occupy encampments to clean their rooms and basements – making beds, folding linens, ironing and hanging up shirts so that they lose all of their hipster cred. We even have one report of parents in Atlanta who removed their son’s three-year-old collection of smashed beer bottles while he was away at Occupy Atlanta.”

The Obama Administration has promised swift and immediate action to help OWS vets readjust to society, pledging everything from free psychological counseling to DVD box-sets of missed TV shows. At a press conference held on Monday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney had this to say: “The president is committed to doing all he can to help those brave Americans. No expense will be spared. The president told me the other day that he was especially moved to action by the story of one young person from Occupy Denver whose parents actually threw out a mint-condition Gundam Force trading card. They thought it was ‘trash.’ What kind of country do we live in where so-called ‘parents’ don’t know the difference between a piece of trash and a valuable anime collectible? I agree with the First Lady when she told a gathering of OWS vets yesterday that she’s gone back to not being proud of her country. Until we begin taking seriously the sacrifices of the OWS heroes, we don’t deserve pride.”

Panetta to Israel: Don’t Touch Iran

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has given Israeli defense minister Ehud Barak a clear warning: don’t attack Iran.

Panetta pointed to a U.S. analysis that a strike on Iran would set back its nuclear program, which Iran says is only for peaceful purposes, by one or two years at most. It would also have implications for U.S. forces in the region.

He added that “thirdly, there are going to be economic consequences to that, that could impact not just on our economy but the world economy.”

What to do, then, if a military strike would be both pointless and harmful?

“The United States feels strongly,” Panetta says, “that the way to deal with [the problem] is to work with our allies, to work with the international community to develop the sanctions and the diplomatic efforts that would further isolate Iran.”

Barak, for his part, doesn’t seem reassured by that. He said it would “probably” take no more than “three-quarters” of a year before no one can do anything practically about [Iran’s nukes] because the Iranians are gradually, deliberately entering into what I call a zone of immunity, by widening the redundancy of their plan, making it spread over many more sites with many more hidden elements.

Barak also warned that “a nuclear Iran would have deep repercussions for the Middle East, prompting countries like Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt to ‘turn nuclear’ and starting a countdown to putting nuclear materials in the hands of terrorists.”

Is this guy for real? So, what Israel has to sit there twiddling their thumbs as Iran continues to be build nuclear weapons. Would Panetta be as arbitrary if Iran was our next door neighbor? 


Can Obama and his administration be that naive? Iran is NOT a peaceful nation and they CANNOT be trusted under any circumstance. Israel has the right to protect itself at all costs and I support them. They are totally and completely surrounded by nations that want to see them eradicated. They have every right to be concerned.


And as for the treacherous U.S. government, they shouldn't trust them either. Obama has shown nothing but contempt for our beloved allies and for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. 


I stand with Israel. And may God have mercy on them.

Massachusetts passes bill making transgenderism/crossdressing a protected class

BOSTON, November 17, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Massachusetts legislature has passed a bill that elevates cross-dressing or transgendered individuals to a protected class, and grants universal access to sex-segregated areas such as bathrooms based on personal “gender identity or expression.”

The measure, known as the “Transgender Equal Rights Bill” (H. 502 in the House and S. 764 in the Senate) passed the upper chamber on Wednesday in a voice vote. It’s unclear when the bill will receive final approval votes and be signed into law by Democrat Gov. Deval Patrick, a strong gay rights supporter.

The bill inserts “gender identity” as a protected class under the state’s hate crime law, and also makes it so that a school or other business would be violating the law if it rejected an applicant because he or she was a crossdresser.
The measure also decrees that the right to “gender identity and expression” is a “civil right.” A provision stating that all “sex-segregated facilities ... shall grant persons admission to and the full enjoyment of such facilities ... consistent with their gender identity or expression” was removed from the measure at the last minute.

Those who violate the non-discrimination rules face up to a $2,500 fine and a year in prison.

For most of us this isn't shocking or surprising, coming from liberal Massachusetts. 

However, I am very concerned and quite literally disgusted that a law is forcing people who value and uphold traditional values to accept this vile lifestyle or wind up paying a fine or going to jail. Really? Is this what America has become? To uphold and value immoral lifestyles and stomping on the values of others? Really? 

And let's look at something else that is frightening, what will stop a rapist  or even a pedophile from dressing up as a woman and entering a woman's bathroom, locker room, sauna, or a place that is strictly for women and assaulting any female present? Who is going to protect them or rather us, since I fall into that particular category. Shouldn't we have a right to say, "HELL NO!" to this despicable invasion of privacy? Who's protecting our "civil rights?"  

Do we honestly want this kind of person around your children, or your spouse?  Who is protecting their rights?

A Professor’s Hatred for Our ‘Killer’ Troops

The disclaimer “we support our troops” has practically become obligatory for proclamations of opposition to U.S. wars. But a Boston law professor felt compelled to declare to students and colleagues that he supports neither the wars nor the troops fighting them.

Michael Avery, a professor of law at Suffolk University Law School, responded to an online solicitation for support for care packages for overseas servicemen by labeling them killers undeserving of sympathy.

“I think it is shameful that it is perceived as legitimate to solicit in an academic institution for support for men and women who have gone overseas to kill other human beings,” Avery professed in an email sent on the eve of the Marine Corps’ birthday and two days before Veterans Day. “I understand that there is a residual sympathy for service members, perhaps engendered by support for troops in World War II, or perhaps from when there was a draft and people with few resources to resist were involuntarily sent to battle. That sympathy is not particularly rational in today’s world, however.”

I find it so appalling that there are idiots like this egotistical bum who spews out hate towards the very people that have died and have put their lives on the line so he could enjoy the freedom that he has.

It's people like him who are tearing down the very fabric of our nation. I would have hoped that imbeciles like this man would come to understand that without war and the military we would not be the nation we are today. War is harsh, cruel and horrible, but sometimes it is a necessity.

Would he have preferred to see Stalin, Hitler or even Castro as our leaders? For someone who is supposed to be an intellectual, he is a moron. I suppose he wants to be oppressed, he would love to see every freedom he has enjoyed wiped out, where is the logic in that? I will never understand why liberals would want to embrace tyranny, rather than freedom.

What a disgrace.

I am thankful for our American and allied troops, without them I would not have the freedom to post here or on Facebook. I would not be enjoying the music I love, reading my bible, praising Jesus in a public setting, being a member of the Tea Party movement, etc.

PolitiChicks vs The View

 Finally, Conservative Americans will have an alternative to those other liberal-based talk shows in which women scream over each other and call Conservatives vile names.

The PolitiChicks are former Saturday Night Live alumni and Tea Party favorite Victoria Jackson, pro-life speaker and activist Jennique Stewart, editor and activist Jennie Jones and Ann-Marie Murrell, columnist and host of The Patriot Update video show.

Some of the topics covered in their first episodes will be illegal immigration, gay marriage, abortion and the Occupy movement. Each of the women have their own strong points of view on each of the subjects and aren’t afraid to speak up–or sing up, as Victoria Jackson tends to do throughout the episodes. In the first episode of PolitiChicks, the ladies discuss gay marriage, Islam and the intolerance of the left toward anyone who disagrees with them.

I am quite happy with this new talk show.  And I also noticed that these awesome conservative women respond to the comments posted on their website.  Someone basically said they could do without the singing from Victoria, and she responded!

I will definitely tune in.

Frank Miller speaks out against OWS protesters.

The legendary comic book writer behind ”300,“ ”Batman: The Dark Knight Returns,“ and ”Sin City“ would likely not call the ”Occupy” protesters in Zuccotti Park and across the country heroes. In a post on his blog last week entitled “Anarchy,“ Frank Miller railed against the ”Occupy“ movement and the protesters he calls ”louts, thieves and rapists.” After beginning the post with “Everybody’s been too damn polite about this nonsense,” Miller went on to write:

“The ‘Occupy’ movement, whether displaying itself on Wall Street or in the streets of Oakland (which has, with unspeakable cowardice, embraced it) is anything but an exercise of our blessed First Amendment. ‘Occupy’ is nothing but a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists, an unruly mob, fed by Woodstock-era nostalgia and putrid false righteousness. These clowns can do nothing but harm America.

‘Occupy’ is nothing short of a clumsy, poorly-expressed attempt at anarchy, to the extent that the ‘movement’ – HAH! Some ‘movement’, except if the word ‘bowel’ is attached – is anything more than an ugly fashion statement by a bunch of iPhone, iPad wielding spoiled brats who should stop getting in the way of working people and find jobs for themselves.”

Miller goes further to acknowledge that “America is at war against a ruthless enemy,“ in reference to ”al-Qaeda and Islamicism,“ and ”In the name of decency, go home to your parents, you losers. Go back to your mommas’ basements and play with your Lords Of Warcraft.”
My sentiments exactly. People are getting fed up.

These miscreants have done nothing productive or anything to help their "cause" what they have done is destroy private and public property, rapes have occurred, people have died, and they have caused businesses to close their doors indefinitely. Utah has the right idea, get a bulldozer and move them all out. Story here if you are interested.

Massachusetts School District Marks Muslim Holiday

Some Massachusetts public school students have a day off this week, but it has nothing to do with power outages or snow.

The Cambridge school system is believed to be the first in Massachusetts to give all students a day off for a Muslim holiday.

Students are getting Tuesday off for Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, the Boston Globe reports. 

"We’re ecstatic about this," Atif Harden, interim executive director of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, told the newspaper. "This is the first year that it’s going to occur. This sort of recognition of our existence and the population we have, we feel very good about."

The day off was approved by the school committee last year because of the district's sizable Muslim population.

Superintendent Jeffrey Young told the newspaper that honoring the holiday is in line with the district's values of "inclusion and respect."

School committee member Marc McGovern says he got some criticism and even threats when he approved of the holiday.

Muslims need to have recognition of their existence???

I believe the whole entire world are fully aware of Muslim existence. Their very presence seems to permeate all walks of life on planet earth.  I don't think there is a person anywhere who isn't aware of their "existence."  That's a bunch of bologna.

This is still a Christian nation, and regardless of Obama's ridiculous rhetoric of denying that fact is, moot. 

So why is there a Muslim holiday being celebrated and forced upon all students?  When students aren't even allowed to say, "Merry Christmas" without being hauled off to the principal's office for disciplinary action?  Or saying a prayer over their lunches.  Or for that matter, carrying the Holy Bible, which I found out, cannot be found in some school libraries.


So what if there is a huge Muslim population in Cambridge, that doesn't mean that US public schools should feel obligated to celebrate their Muslim holidays.  


Once again, people fall back and allow Muslims to have the upper-hand.

Girl Scouts open to everyone -- even boys

With the Girl Scouts recently caving to the wishes of a seven-year-old boy and his mother by allowing him to join a local troop of girls, a spokesperson for a Christian women's organization is questioning the role of the child's parents.

Initial reports revealed that Bobby Montoya could not join the girls' group. The local troop leader told Montoya's mother, Felisha Archuleta, that he could not join, regardless of how he feels, because he has "boy parts." But apparently that worker was not familiar with the group's policy, as the Girl Scouts have been working to support transgender children and their families. So Rachelle Trujillo of the Girl Scouts of Colorado decided that if a boy wants to live as a girl with his parents 'approval, they would welcome him.

This is a seven-year-old boy, so my question is, where on earth did he get the idea that he is a girl?  At this young age, children are completely innocent and clueless regarding their sexuality let alone claiming to be transgendered.  

This reeks of his mother's or parents disgusting and perverse influence.  I also have a concern if maybe this child might be being abused in a more intimate manner.  Could be it be possible that he is being molested or asked to dress as a little girl to pleasure an adult?  Just a thought.

As far as the Girl Scouts are concerned,in my opinion, they have become a debacle of political correctness gone awry.  AND, as much as I love their cookies, I will no longer give my money to an organization that exploits children in any manner or form.
