Obama Goes Golfing on Memorial Day

The business of memorializing our war dead done, President Obama headed out to the Fort Belvoir golf course today, finding his way onto the links for the ninth weekend in a row.

Obama earlier today laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and met with families of those killed in battle. But he emerged from the day’s solemnity to go golfing for the 12th time this year and the 70th time of his presidency.

The decision to golf on Memorial Day invites comparison with President George W. Bush, who gave up the game early in his presidency and said he did it out of respect for the families of those killed in Iraq.

Obama is out with the three younger aides he typically has in tow on his golf excursions, junior White House staffer Ben Finkenbinder, White House Trip Director Marvin Nicholson, and Energy Department staffer David Katz.

In a sign of his determination to play no matter what, Obama is golfing even though it is currently 95 degrees at Fort Belvoir and it “feels like” it’s 98 degrees, according to The Weather Channel.

Figures...I don't even know what to say anymore about this loser for a president.  He parties in Europe spending more taxpayer money and disregards the devastation and deaths of the tornadoes that hit Joplin, Hackleburg and Tuscaloosa....and some of my Obama diehard's relatives, said, "he was on diplomatic duties."  Really?  Drinking in a pub in Ireland is construed as diplomatic?  Whatever..

Muslim girl, 19, 'stoned to death after taking part in beauty contest'

Murdered: Katya Koren was attacked after taking part in a beauty contest which her friends said angered hardline Muslims

A teenage Muslim girl was stoned to death under 'Sharia law' after taking part in a beauty contest in Ukraine.

Katya Koren, 19, was found dead in a village in the Crimea region near her home. 

Friends said she liked wearing fashionable clothes and had come seventh in a beauty contest. 

Her battered body was buried in a forest and was found a week after she disappeared.

Police have opened a murder investigation and are looking into claims that three Muslim youths killed her, claiming her death was justified under Islam.  

One of the three - named as 16-year-old Bihal Gaziev - is under arrest and told police that Katya had 'violated the laws of Sharia'. Gaziev has said he has no regrets about her death.

This is a peaceful religion?  Really??  Wow....*shaking head*

Foreign Aid to Arab and Muslim countries

While America's standing in the Middle East couldn't get much lower, you wouldn't know it looking at the U.S. foreign aid budget. Of proposed U.S. assistance for 2012, almost two-thirds is earmarked for Muslim nations and one-third goes to Arab countries.

Yet, despite those billions in aid, opinion polls show most Arab citizens still have an unfavorable view of America and most Muslim nations routinely vote against U.S. interests in the United Nations.

Years ago, U.N. Ambassador John Bolton proposed cutting off all aid to the 30 nations who consistently voted against the U.S. in the UN. Before him, President Reagan's U.N. Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick proposed cutting off $1 million in aid for each vote an aid recipient cast against the U.S. in the U.N. In both cases, Bolton says the State Department overruled them.

"Foreign aid to a lot of countries could be readily cut and I think it's been a mistake by the U.S. government for decades not to take U.N. voting into account," Bolton said Monday.

This document, released by the State Department, examines 13 critical votes in the UN in 2010.

Compare that to this list of US aid recipients for 2012 and this poll released last week by the Pew Research Center Global Attitudes Project.

The result: some of the largest recipients of U.S. taxpayer money over the last 6 budget years consistently vote against the U.S. and harbor negative or unfavorable views of America.


Some other Muslim countries show almost no friendship or allegiance to the U.S. but continue to see the State Department shower them with money.

Algeria has received $60 million and votes with the U.S. just 16% of the time. Oman $74 million, 18% voting coincidence. Whereas the Palestinian Territories received $3 billion dollars yet just 18% have a favorable view of the U.S.

In an analysis of the numbers, of the President's 2012 foreign assistance request of $34.5 billion, 60% or $20.1 billion goes to Muslim nations, or those where a majority practice Islam. About 33% or the total budget, or $11.6 billion is awarded to Arab countries.

And while many Americans think most U.S. foreign aid goes to "humanitarian assistance" or food and medicine for the poor, an analysis shows 80% of our aid to Arab countries pays for police and the military. And despite the President's speech last week calling for closer ties with Middle Eastern nations and fostering free market, democratic principles, just 5% of our aid to the region is dedicated to 'economic development'.




My solution?  Cut off ALL FOREIGN aid.  We need the money more than they do.

Netanyahu: 1967 Lines Are Indefensible, Can't Negotiate With a Governme...

This is a real leader speaking. And he puts Obama to shame. I have said this before and I will continue to say it. "Obama isn't capable of running a lemonade stand, let alone a strong nation like the United States." He is a disgrace to the position he holds.

He can learn a lot from Netanyahu. Wow! The respect and dignity of the man alone is inspiring.

He spoke with great eloquence but under no uncertain terms told Obama that he is not going to budge. God bless that man and the whole state of Israel.

Obama destroys alliance with Israel

Senator Allen West's response to Obama's debacle:


“Today’s endorsement by President Barack Obama of the creation of a Hamas-led Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders, signals the most egregious foreign policy decision his administration has made to date, and could be the beginning of the end as we know it for the Jewish state.


From the moment the modern day state of Israel declared statehood in 1948, to the end of the 1967 Six Day War, Jews were forbidden access to their holiest site, the Western Wall in Jerusalem’s Old City, controlled by Jordan’s Arab army.


The pre-1967 borders endorsed by President Obama would deny millions of the world’s Jews access to their holiest site and force Israel to return the strategically important Golan Heights to Syria, a known state-sponsor of terrorism.


Resorting to the pre-1967 borders would mean a full withdrawal by the Israelis from the West Bank and the Jewish neighborhoods of East Jerusalem. Make no mistake, there has always been a Nation of Israel and Jerusalem has been and must always be recognized as its rightful capital.

America should never negotiate with the Palestinian Authority- which has aligned itself with Hamas. Palestine is a region, not a people or a modern state. Based upon Roman Emperor Hadrian’s declaration in 73 AD, the original Palestinian people are the Jewish people.


It’s time for the American people to stand by our strongest ally, the Jewish State of Israel, and reject this foreign policy blunder of epic proportions.


While the winds of democracy may blow strong in the Middle East, history has demonstrated that gaps in leadership can lead to despotic regimes. I have questions for President Obama: ‘Who will now lead in Egypt?’ and ‘Why should American taxpayers provide foreign aid to a nation where the next chapter in their history may be the emergence of another radical Islamic state?’


President Obama has not stood for Israel or the Jewish people and has made it clear where the United States will stand when Palestine attempts to gain recognition of statehood by the United Nations. The President should focus on the real obstacle to security- the Palestinian leadership and its ultimate goal to eliminate Israel and the Jewish people.”


Allen West is spot-on.  And I am curious to know how many Jewish people are going to consider voting for Obama the blunderer this coming election.  What he has done, it is unforgivable. 


I never thought I would see the day where the United States of America would turn its back on one of our greatest and closest allies.  This is reprehensible.  


The Muslim Brotherhood are probably applauding and dancing in delight.  We have traitor and Muslim sympathizer in office.  What is Obama going to do when the tables are turned on us?

The Mercy Missions series blog tour

I would like to thank LitFuse Group for providing me copies of these books to review. 


Three heroes, all on missions of mercy, who discover that God not only saves us from evil, but from the darkness inside.  In the order that I read them....Word of advice read them in the proper order....Point of No Return, Mission Out of Control and Undercover Pursuit.

The Story:  Brody "Wick" Wickham is a former Green Beret turned security agent-with a 100 percent mission success rate. No way is his new assignment changing that. Even if it's protecting a diva American rock star while she's on tour in Europe. Except Veronica "Vonya" Wagner isn't just a beautiful celebrity used to having her way-she's the daughter of a U.S. Senator. And she's hiding a dangerous secret. When Wick discovers what's at stake, how far over the line will he go to keep them both alive? 


My Review:   Okay, so I am not a huge fan of romance novels, but Susan May Warren did a great job with all three books.  I liked how Brody did his very best to try and keep Vonya out of trouble which was not easy, even for an ex-Green Beret.  There is humor, suspense and action in this novel.  I wasn't to keen on seeing the mushy side of a seasoned Green Beret, but who knows?  I assume most of them hide rather well. Anyhoo, I think Vonya kind of pushed him out of his box.  

The Story: The only way to get security agent Luke Dekker to a wedding? An undercover mission as groomsman. He'll bust the groom, a drug cartel heir, before anyone can say "I do." Then Luke can escape all this love and romance nonsense-and the too pretty bridesmaid/agent assigned as his "fiancée" for the weekend. Until Luke discovers that sweet, vulnerable Scarlett Hanson isn't his contact. Isn't an agent.

Isn't trained for the high-stakes mission now trapping them both. And worse, Luke's falling for her-which is not part of the assignment.

My Review:  This was fun book.  It's all about the romance and adventure in this novel, and there is a lot of humor in this novel.  I must admit this one was an enjoyment to read.  Not to mention the mistaken identity, that was a hoot.  A very fun read and a great ending....or is there more adventures for Luke and Scarlett?

The Story:  An American boy and a warlord's engaged daughter have disappeared-together-in an Eastern European border country. Only one man can find them in time to prevent an international meltdown-Chet Stryker. But Chet is taken aback when he realizes the boy is the nephew of Mae Lund, Chet's former flame. When Mae insists on rescuing her relative herself, Chet knows he has to protect her from the enemy on their trail. Yet can he protect himself from falling for Mae again?

My Review:  This book had a lot more action.  And I am sad to say, if I had read the books in the proper order, I would have known who Chet and Mae were from Mission Out of Control, oops!  I digress, I  loved the fact that Mae is a very strong and independent woman, and a pilot to top things off. She is not one to be trifled with.  She is a woman on a mission and nothing will stand in her way, not even Chet, her lost love.  Chet, on the other hand, like all romance novels is tough, but deep down inside has a heart of mush.  What woman doesn't want that?  

These are great, clean and fun books to read.  Kudos to Harelquin for doing inspirational books.

The Obama administration will begin to tap federal retiree programs to help fund operations after the government lost its ability Monday to borrow more money from the public, adding urgency to efforts in Washington to fashion a compromise over the debt.

Does this surprise anyone?  Obama and his pathetic administration have finally tapped us out and now they are going to take more from the people.  


This is what happens when people vote for clowns without weighing all the facts.  They just saw Obama and liked his looks, his speeches and ran to the polls.  Never once did they research his voting records, or where he stood on morality and values, or his socialist views.  


Thanks a lot!   Because of that erroneous mistake, the whole of the United States is paying a most terrible price. DEBT and unfortunately, that debt is already being passed onto our children.


Look at this:  Geithner is undertaking special measures in an effort to postpone the day when he will no longer have enough funds to pay all of the government’s bills.


This is really outrageous.  They want to save money?  For one thing, cut back on the administrations salaries, make them use their own money for their vacations, make them use civilian transportation or they should pay to use private jets, limos, etc.
civilian transportation.  Limit the amount of use of Air Force One.  Fuel isn't cheap. 


The buck needs to stop at the top. The Obama administration needs to learn to adjust their fanatical spending and start budgeting like the rest of the real world.  How many vacations does a man have to have?  Or remember Pelosi's hefty bill, or Reid's for that matter?


And one more thing, CUT ALL FUNDING TO ILLEGALS!!  No more Food Stamps, free housing, free schooling, transportation, medical care, etc.  Maybe that will give those people incentive to leave our nation and protest and yell in their own countries.


We truly cannot afford to pay for any of them any longer nor can we afford to pay for all the luxuries the Obama administration wants.  


Okay, okay, okay....I am done ranting and raving.  But this is very alarming.

Amnesty for Illegals

Yesterday Obama Flew to El Paso to Mock and Belittle Those Who Favor Tighter Borders

Again! Obama Promises New Push For Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

Yesterday, in El Paso, Texas, the president made a speech about border security and the need to liberalize our immigration system.

According to Obama, America needseven higher immigration!

(Note to the White House: Before the next immigration speech, please ask some of the 22 million Americans who can't find full time work if we need more immigrant labor!)

The El Paso speech was reported in practically every newspaper as being anobvious attempt to court Hispanic voters for his reelection.

According to his speech, border security has now been effectively achieved.

Well, that's news to the GAO, which says that illegal aliens can only be stopped along 129 miles of our nearly 2,000 mile long border with Mexico and along only 2 miles of our nearly 4,000 mile long border with Canada!

Obama didn't stop at misleading and exaggerated statements about progress on the border.NO -- the president felt it necessary to MOCK and BELITTLE people like you and me who demand more steps be taken to secure that border.

Here's a quote from the Associated Press article published yesterday about the speech:

"Maybe they need a moat," Obama said mockingly to laughter from the crowd. "Maybe they'll want alligators in the moat"

Since enough progress has been made on the border -- says Obama -- Congress should proceed to, what else, pass a mass amnesty for 11 to 18 million illegal aliens already here. Unbelievable!

Then, Obama went on to give a new argument for amnesty: It will help America's middle class! What do you think about that? Will it help you and your family?

In tight coordination with the White House, yesterday Sen. Dick Durbin (D, IL) said he would re-introduce the detested and dangerous DREAM Act, which would amnesty just about every illegal alien under age 30 and allow them to amnesty their adult relatives -- with no enforcement provisions whatsoever!

59% of Americans Favor Cutting off Federal Funding to Sanctuary Cities

A new poll conducted by Rasmussen finds that 59% of Americans want to cut federal funding to sanctuary cities. The poll of likely voters found that only 28% would oppose such a measure.

Last week, freshman Rep. Lou Barletta (R-Pa.) announced plans to introduce legislation that would cut federal funding to sanctuary cities. Unfortunately, 55% of those polled say it's unlikely that Congress will consider the legislation.

In addition to the large majority of likely voters who would support the measure, 58% also say that the Justice Department should take legal action against cities that provide a sanctuary for illegal aliens. Only 26% oppose such legal action.

Overall, 65% of likely voters oppose the creation of sanctuary cities.

And in lieu of this, San Francisco has already said that they would begin releasing illegals who are in jail for petty crimes before they can get deported.

I believe that is the first city that should lose all funding. Right?

MY REVIEW:  I must admit, the book began a bit slow for me, because there was a lot of detail about the technicalities of military weaponry and so forth, that just goes over my head.  I plunged ahead and continued reading and was not disappointed.  

This book has a lot of suspense, intrigue, a teeny bit of romance and definitely political.

I love the character of Julie Baker, she is very believable and you are in the background cheering her on as she begins to find her faith and healing, and definitely strength when she is accused of being a spy and.....  I can't put any spoilers in here, you are just going to have to read this book.  Needless to say, you will love her and literally want to help her out.

Diane Sawyer did a special report. They removed ALL items from a typical, middle class family's home that were not made in the USA . 
There was hardly anything left besides the kitchen sink. Literally. During the special they showed truckloads of items - USA made - being brought in to replace everything and will be talking about how to find these items and the difference in price etc..
It was interesting that Diane said that if every American spent just $64 more than normal on USA made items this year, it would create something like 200,000 new jobs!

Are we Americans as dumb as we appear --- or --- is it that we just do not think while the Chinese, knowingly and intentionally, export inferior and even toxic products and dangerous toys and goods to be sold in American markets?

70% of Americans believe that the trading privileges afforded to the Chinese should be suspended.

Why do you need the government to suspend trading privileges? DO IT YOURSELF, AMERICA !!

Simply look on the bottom of every product you buy, and if it says 'Made in China ' or 'PRC' (and that now includes Hong Kong ), simply choose another product, or none at all. You will be amazed at how dependent you are on Chinese products, and you will be equally amazed at what you can do without.

Who needs plastic eggs to celebrate Easter? If you must have eggs, use real ones and benefit some American farmer. Easter is just an example. The point is do not wait for the government to act. Just go ahead and assume control on your own.

THINK ABOUT THIS: If 200 million Americans refuse to buy just $20 each of Chinese goods, that's a billion dollar trade imbalance resolved in our favor...fast!!

Most of the people who have been reading about this matter are planning on implementing this on MAY 1st and continue it until JUNE 1st. That is only one month of trading losses, but it will hit the Chinese for 1/12th of the total, or 8%, of their American exports. Then they might have to ask themselves if the benefits of their arrogance and
lawlessness were worth it.

Remember, MAY 1 TO JUNE 1st !!!!!!

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.   I will do my best to keep up with responses, but for the past two nights having been signing the worship service for a Prophetic and healing conference.  Two more nights to go along with a double-header of soccer games, and regular church.  Whew!!  God give me strength.

La Raza Student Mob Shuts Down Tucson School Board Meeting

La Raza DOES not speak for me.

This is really infuriating.  La Raza (The Race) are nothing but hateful racists that thrive on causing more upheaval and chaos.  They believe that they have the right to do what they want, because the United States "stole" land from them.  What a bunch of BS.  They believe the United States should accommodate and reward all illegals by supporting them and giving free education to their children.  WRONG!


They are NOT a peaceful people, they thrive on causing chaos and spreading their lies and propaganda.  


There is nothing wrong with people coming to the United States, as long as they go through the proper channels and become LEGAL citizens and must be able to SPEAK English.  I do not believe if an illegal woman comes into this nation pregnant and proceeds to have her child here, that her baby automatically receives legal citizenship status.  


And for any libs who want to call me a "racist" for speaking against this group, let me make one thing very clear.  My background is Hispanic.  My mother's family is from Mexico, we come from the Yaqui tribe.  My dad's family is from Spain.  I AM an American, NOT a Mexican-American. I am very proud of my heritage, but I am and always will be an American first.


This group is full of people who hate America and want to see her falter and fall.  They have no qualms about breaking laws.  


I wonder how many of those young kids had parents that are illegals?  Shame immigration wasn't involved to investigate the parents.  If they hate America so much and love waving their Mexican colors, why don't they just go back to their respective country and leave mine alone!

Is Pakistan Playing Both Sides of the Fence?

In lieu of Sunday's fantastic news that Bin Laden the Butcher is dead, I had a question that kept drumming through my head.  "How was this man able to hide in "plain sight?" in a million dollar home?  In Pakistan?


They must have had some indication?  Someone as recognizable as that man could not have just walked into the country,  set up house, armed it and had it guarded without some warning bells going off, am I right?


The United States has regarded Pakistan as a one of our top allies in the fight against the Taliban, al Queda or any terrorist threat. But I am a bit suspicious that they may be playing both sides.  Which is probably why the US government did not inform the Pakistan government of this raid.


And, furthermore,  the United States has also been quite generous with our anti-terrorist pals with $18 billion foreign assistance and reimbursements, which 2/3rds of which are security related.


So, what's your opinion on this?  I am very curious to hear your answers.

He's Dead Jim....

This is a time to celebrate, America!!  He is finally dead. 


Okay, I am sure I am going to tick off Obama supporters, but hey, who cares!


Obama is trying to take credit for the death of Bin Laden, even though he recently gave the order on April 29 to close in on the scum bag's location.  I think someone is trying to gain some brownie points due to the upcoming election.  I am not duped.


The credit and most deservedly, so, goes to the heroic and brave Navy SEALs who took Bin Laden down and his compound.  It was through their strategic efforts and courage that finally ended this madman's reign of terror.


I congratulate President Bush for setting up the the security policies that the Obama administration continued.

Here is how former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld put it: “Credit belongs to the courageous special operators who executed the mission.  ….All of this was made possible by the relentless, sustained pressure on al-Qaeda that the Bush administration initiated after 9/11 and that the Obama administration has wisely chosen to continue.”

 House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio): “I also want to commend President Obama and his team, as well as President Bush, for all of their efforts to bring Osama bin Laden to justice.”

 However, former Vice President Cheney simply called it  “a tremendous achievement for the military and intelligence professionals who carried out this important mission,” adding: “I also want to congratulate President Obama and the members of his national security team.”

Rep. Pete King (R-N.Y.), chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, gave perhaps the classiest response: “This is a great moment for the United States. And let me, as a Republican, give President Obama tremendous credit for this. This was a significant military operation. He had to pull the trigger on it; he carried it out,” King said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “I supported President Bush's policies; the fact is it was President Obama who carried this mission to conclusion. I think it's important for all Americans to stand behind him and give him the credit as commander-in-chief for what he did.”
