This bill is going to cost all taxpayers $4.5 billion that will allow more children to eat lunches and dinners at school, which is part of Michelle Obama's campaign to end child hunger and fight childhood obesity. She basically is forcing schools to cut down on foods like pizza, hamburgers, or whatever kids love to eat. This bill will give the government the power to DECIDE what kinds of foods may be sold in vending machines and lunch lines, and it could even limit frequent school bake sales and fundraisers that give kids extra chances to eat fun tasty goodies.
And to add further insult to parents Michelle Obama was quoted stating, "It's clear that we, as a nation, have a responsibility to meet as well," she said. "We can't just leave it to the parents."
Apparently Michelle Obama doesn't believe that parents are capable of being entrusted with their own children but believes the government can do a better job feeding our children. What's next?
I don't think for one minute that either of those two give a rats-rear-end about my children or anyone else's children. It's about training our children to be good, obedient little socialists.
Otherwise, we wouldn't have this ridiculous bill to begin with. Once again, the Obama's and their administration are forcing Americans to embrace socialism.
