Obama's HRC appearance will 'alienate' Americans

The president of an organization dedicated to exposing the homosexual activist agenda believes President Barack Obama will alienate many Americans when he speaks this weekend at a meeting of the largest homosexual-rights group in the nation.

On Saturday night, Obama will deliver the keynote address at the 13th annual National Dinner in Washington, DC -- an annual event organized by the Human Rights Campaign, the largest homosexual activist group in the United States.

Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, says it is clear President Obama is trying to appease homosexual activists, many of whom have been vocal about their disappointment with the chief executive.

"The problem with having the homosexual lobby as an ally is that they're very loud and obnoxious -- and if they don't get their way immediately, they start carping and complaining," says LaBarbera.

"That's what they've been doing -- they're saying Obama is not moving fast enough," he continues. "But the further and faster Obama moves on the gay agenda, the more he will alienate mainstream and middle-of-the-road Americans."

LaBarbera points out that HRC has "Bible studies" online that claim homosexuality is not sinful. Among those studies is one HRC says is designed to train individuals to "move people of faith and congregations from acceptance to public advocacy."

I don't even think I need to comment on this. It is very apparent to all Christians and TEA Party demonstrators that this president doesn't give a rats-rear-end about anyone who is not some left-wing nut job. The rest of us could go to hell as far as he is concerned.

To all homo activists, please go to hell and leave the rest of us and our children alone.

Oh, did I just offend you with "go to hell" remark? No apology here. Even God says you are an abomination.

Maybe I don't recall correctly. But I thought that BHO came out against the homosexual agenda last year or the year before.

Did he change his position out of political expediency? Would be no surprise!

With BHO's poll numbers dropping, I'm sure that he's reaching every whichaway to shore up support.

AOW, I am not sure if he did, but he was always in favor of the homosexual agenda from the beginning of his campaign.

He is such a self-possessed man that he firmly believes everyone loves him and will embrace him, no matter what atrocities he causes in his wake.

Obama is for whatever helps him. We should have learned that when he threw granny under the bus...

He appointed a homosexual activist as his "safe schools czar." What more do we need to know.

The pink hand is at work in this administration.

Well, he appeases Muslims too...might as well appease the fags as well!

WHY does anyone think that homos deserve special "rights" anyway? Does one qualify for additional rights if they're queer? WHY? That never made any sense to me.

And this crap about "celebrating homosexuality" why does it need to be celebrated? I don't celebrate my heterosexuality. I just enjoy it!!!!

If this won't wake them up, then nothing will. The writing was on the wall long ago but few listened.

foutsc, I think he maybe a closet homosexual, why else is he so adamant and protective of those people?

Steve, exactly!! I see nothing to celebrate.

MK, at this point those that are still fans of BHO have no hope in ever realizing the truth.
