I cannot find out if this is true?

I got this e-mail today and I went to two web sites trying to see if there is any truth behind this: If anyone knows, please correct me. Otherwise, I am going to take this as truth. Because it doesn't surprise me one bit that Obama's church would be hiding Muslims.

Shawn Wasson is a minister in Cape Girardeau Mo. and grew up in our church, First Baptist Church of St. John, MO.

So I Thought there might be more credibility to this than a random email from whomever.

Martin Tetley Dear Friends,This is for information only. I, (Shawn Wasson), personally know the Egyptianman who placed this call.

Please consider carefully what you read:

A Truth To Know
By Usama Dakdok

The Straight Way of Grace Ministry I called The United Church of Christ in Chicago , Illinois , where SenatorObama is a member. I doubted that he was indeed a Christian for if he wereMuslim and left the religion of Islam, according to Islamic law, he would besubject to a death warrant by Islam itself. Many such murders take placearound the world to Muslims who have left Islam.

However, in this case theMuslims are joyously happy to think that we would have a Muslim President inthe White House. Obama is deceiving America . Muslims would not be endorsinga Muslim who left Islam to become a Christian.

It is important to note that I had four witnesses to this conversation with Obama's church on the phone. The dates and time and the length of theconversation can be verified by phone records.

The following is the conversation I had with the church regarding membershipin the church.

'My name is Usama, and I am from Egypt . I want to join the church.' 'I needto ask you some questions please.

'They connected me to the membership department. I proceeded to ask questionsthat only a Muslim would ask.

'What is the difference between Baptist andyour church?

'She answered, 'We believe exactly what the Baptist believe.

'My second question was, 'How big is your church and what kind of church isit?

'Her answer was, 'We are a Black African American church and we have 6000 members.

' I asked her, 'Do I have to attend Sunday school classes and other meetings to be a member?'

She said, 'No, that is not necessary.' I asked, 'Do I have to be baptized to join the church?'

Her answer was 'NO.'I asked,

'Do I have to give money to join the church?' She answered 'NO.' Iwent on to ask her how do I join the church?'.

She replied, 'You need to attend two Sunday school membership classes in a row and then you need to walk the aisle.

'I said, 'That sounds easy.' 'Now one last question please.

She replied to me, 'I am sorry I cannot answer this question for you.'

I could sense she was uncomfortable to go further with me.

I ended the conversation by saying to her,

Please let as many people as you can know about this information.Usama

Pelosi denies that Catholicism condemns abortion

Yeah, I know everyone must be tired of hearing about the ignorant comments made by Pelosi, but I just had to know what some of my readers think on what she said.

WASHINGTON - In an appearance on the NBC program Meet the Press on Sunday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a self-professed Catholic, denied that the Catholic Church condemns abortion.

Referring to Barack Obama's now-notorious answer to Pastor Rick Warren to the question of when life begins, Meet the Press moderator Tom Brokaw asked Pelosi, "Senator Obama saying the question of when life begins is above his pay grade....If he were to come to you and say, 'Help me out here, Madame Speaker. When does life begin?' what would you tell him?"

Pelosi responded by sidestepping the question, appealing to her Catholic faith as the source of her uncertainty. "I would say that as an ardent, practicing Catholic, this is an issue that I have studied for a long time," she said. "And what I know is, over the centuries, the doctors of the church have not been able to make that definition. And Senator - St. Augustine said at three months. We don't know."

Pelosi then said that in her view the question of when life begins is a non-issue in the debate on abortion.

"The point is, is that it shouldn't have an impact on the woman's right to choose. Roe v. Wade talks about very clear definitions of when the child - first trimester, certain considerations; second trimester; not so third trimester. There's very clear distinctions. This isn't about abortion on demand, it's about a careful, careful consideration of all factors and - to - that a woman has to make with her doctor and her god."

Brokaw continued to press Pelosi on the question, observing, "The Catholic Church at the moment feels very strongly that it...begins at the point of conception."

Pelosi again side-stepped the question, suggesting that the Catholic Church's current position is only a recent position and that "over the history of the church, this is an issue of controversy."

The president of the Catholic League, Bill Donohue, responded to Pelosi's statements on Meet the Press, observing that the Catholic Church's position on abortion is clear beyond any doubt. "Here is what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says: 'Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception.'"

He continued, "It also says, 'Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable.' Looks like Pelosi didn't study the subject long enough. But not to worry: We are sending her a copy of Catholicism for Dummies today."

Kathryn Jean Lopez, the online editor of National Review, quipped, "It's the blind leading the blind in that party if the 'ardent practicing Catholic' doesn't care when life begins, only that women have the choice to do what they 'choose' [sometimes, thanks to people like Pelosi, not aware of what their choices actually are] whether it's life or not."

Pelosi concluded her appearance by contradicting another doctrine of the Catholic Church by advocating contraception. Contraception is officially condemned by the Catholic Church as "intrinsically evil."

"My Republican colleagues do not support contraception. If you want to reduce the number of abortions, and we all do, we must - it would behoove you to support family planning and, and contraception, you would think," she said. "But that is not the case."

Many of you may not know this, but as a little girl I grew up as a Catholic until I was about 11-years-old. So, I may not be as educated in Catholicism, but I DO KNOW that they believe that life begins at conception. Pelosi better get herself educated on Catholic beliefs and doctrine before she makes an even bigger ass of herself.

How on earth can she say that life-begins is an non-issue on abortion? IT IS an issue.

I was channel surfing last night and ran across EWTN and there was a priest who spoke with authority on this very matter and basically shredded everything Pelosi had said. The woman is fool of bologna, and that is putting it very nicely.

I wanted you all to know God got me through my rough time yesterday. It helps to throw yourself at the mercy seat and ask the Creator to help his creation. Afterall, who knows me better than Him, right? I am still dealing with physical issues, but that will not deter my love for my precious and mighty Savior.

MOVING ON...thankfully, hee.

I wanted to share this awesome pilot of a movie called, 'FIREPROOF" starring Kirk Cameron.

We need to support this movie when it comes out. Christians must stick together.

I just can't shake this....

I don't know how much more I can take with what is going on with me. I feel so trapped right now and even though I am praying and doing my best to trust in the Lord to bring me peace, I have this overwhelming desire to just give up.

My mind, body and soul are tormented. I sometimes just want to throw myself on the floor and scream my bloody head off! And scream "WHY?!!!" Why do I have to keep struggling with illnesses? Why does my house keep developing problem after problem? I am literally in the depths of despair. My body is my worst enemy. Since I was 7-years-old, I have battled illness after illness.

Yesterday at church, I felt free and lifted and for a while felt hope renewed. Then today, it started all over again and the wretched dread felt like a ton of bricks hitting my stomach.

I shared my problem, too personal to share on my blog, with my closest friends and my pastor's wife said it is probably a trial that God is putting me through. I have been told by pastors and other people that I have a "spirit of compassion and mercy" and this maybe something that I have to go through to help someone else.

I know that God is in control. I know that He loves me. I know a day will come when I can look back on this time and see the whole picture and thank Him for it. But as for right now, I am hanging by a thread. My faith is strong, which is the only thing that is keeping me from going insane. IT IS SO HARD! I just don't know how long I can cope with this.

I know that God is my strength, my Jehovah Rophe, my Rock and salvation. In Him will I trust.

Well, now that I spilled my guts out, I hope I didn't scare anyone off. Sometimes it just helps to vent on my blog. *smile*

This is from an e-mail I received from the ACLJ. I really believe that Christians need to take the Muslim threat very seriously.

We've got an extremely grave problem on our hands.

In fact, Christians are literally being targeted by one of the most powerful Islamic organizations in the world.

Let me get straight to the matter ... The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), the largest lobbying body of nations within the United Nations (U.N.) - including countries in the Middle East, Asia and even South America - is pushing an anti-Christian agenda with full force.

They're attempting to pass a sinister resolution called ''Combating Defamation of Religions.'' It sounds palatable -

However, a careful reading shows that it boldly targets men and women of faith, like you and me, who speak out - in any way - against Islam.

Please understand, this radical proposal essentially discriminates against Christians sharing the Good News. It could make the proclamation of your faith an international crime - punishable by imprisonment ... even death.

When Supreme Court Justice Scalia said in a recent dissent, ''America is at war with radical Islamists,'' he was exactly right.

We are seeing worldwide persecution of Christians as part of the radical Muslim mission to ''take the world for Islam'' - by purging Christianity from the face of the earth.
  • In Saudi Arabia, a Muslim father violently cut out his young daughter's tongue and burned her alive upon learning she had become a Christian.
  • In Africa, a leading Gospel singer was seized, stuffed into a cargo box - with a single hole for air - and left for a month to go crazy or die. After two years, she was released, fled her captive country, and was granted political asylum in Denmark.
  • In Iran, a couple was tortured for reading the Bible.
  • Two men in Algeria were tried and convicted for possessing Christian books.

And today we face extremely dangerous threats everywhere because of the one posed by the OIC.

Make no mistake, the ACLJ is absolutely dedicated to combating this perilous resolution at the United Nations.

In fact, our European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ) is officially recognized by the U.N. - which is absolutely critical right now as we work aggressively as your voice on this issue.

I am personally leading a team of ACLJ and ECLJ attorneys and staff researching, preparing reports and oral presentations - on your behalf, to protect your religious freedom.

We're calling on the U.N.'s High Commissioner of Human Rights to vehemently oppose this dangerous resolution and focus instead on improving existing international law to protect the religious beliefs of all individuals.

We'll begin hearings at the U.N. in just a few weeks, so I am turning to you for support. I am asking you, and every member of the ACLJ, to give an immediate generous tax-deductible contribution, and also to pray.

We need your support, in prayers and giving, as we launch our nationwide campaign to aggressively defeat this bold anti-Christian bigotry.

There is no other choice - we've got to win this battle for freedom at the U.N., or the ramifications for Christians will be staggering.

A very sad day for me...

My husband found out that we have stray kittens living under his workshop, which needs to be condemned, anyhoo, we noticed a little black and white kitten that had a very serious eye infection and we tried getting near it but it ran away. I decided to put food out on Saturday, the same day we discovered the kittens, and hoped that they would eat.

Apparently, the mother decided that the little black and white kitten wasn't worth saving so she neglected to nurse it and is nursing two rather rambunctions kittens instead.

Hubby called me at work today and told me that the little kitten was very sick and he was able to pick it up. He said that it was covered in ants and was being eaten alive so he placed it in a box and began to feed it a little milk from an eyedropper. He told me that it was dying and if I wanted to see it alive I needed to get home.

Well, I finally made it home and my worst fear was confirmed, this little guy was not going to make it through the night. I rushed him to our vets office and told them that it was a stray and if they would take him/her and the receptionist looked in the box and said, "ahh..." went to speak with a manager and told me there was nothing they could do and sent me on my way. I drove to the Humane society but they were closed. Sadly, we don't have an SPCA office in our town and I ran out of options.
I called animal control and they told me them that they did not have any facilities for cats, just for dogs and the only thing that they could do was euthanize it.

They picked him up an hour ago and I feel so horribly guilty but I couldn't afford to treat the baby. We are talking IV's, shots, de-fleaing, de-ticking, way too much money for a cat that isn't even mine.

I decided that my vet lost a client today. If they could look at a sick little kitten and have the audacity to send it away because it was a stray then they are heartless and it is all about the money.

Records obtained on illegal alien suspect in triple-murder case Chad Groening - OneNewsNow - 8/14/2008 7:40:00 AM

A public-interest group has obtained some of the arrest and booking records it requested on an illegal immigrant who is charged with a triple murder in San Francisco.

Edwin Ramos has been charged with gunning down Tony Bologna and his two sons with an AK-47 assault rifle following a minor traffic incident on June 22. Tom Fitton of
Judicial Watch says his group obtained records on the case from the San Francisco Police Department pursuant to the provisions of the California Public Records Act. Those records, says Fitton, were quite revealing.

"[Ramos] is documented as being an active member of MS-13, which is an El Salvadorian street gang," explains Fitton. "[The gang is] largely illegal alien-based -- and these records also show that he is not a U.S. citizen."

Fitton says that fact alone should have been enough to have Ramos deported from the country had local authorities been allowed to notify immigration officials. But due to San Francisco's sanctuary policy, said the Judicial Watch spokesman, Ramos was allowed to remain at-large and in a position to allegedly commit a triple murder. Fitton believes the crime may compel the city to abandon its sanctuary policy.

Judicial Watch also has an ongoing taxpayer lawsuit against the city of San Francisco in relation to its sanctuary city status. The government watchdog group has launced a new website dedicated to fighting sanctuary policies across the U.S. that favor illegal immigrants.

Once again San Francisco thumbs it nose at the authorities and the law. They have innocent blood on their hands. They protect these illegal immigrants and allow them to run violent in the streets. What they should be doing is protecting their citizens from these criminals. But no, they favor the illegals over
the taxpayors.

Now a family has suffered brutal losses that could have been prevented. This should cause an outcry and a demand for the city of San Francisco to own up to their negligence.

'Positive shift' claimed in Dems' abortion stance

A group of evangelical and Catholic leaders claims pro-life voters should be willing to support presidential nominee Barack Obama because there's been a "positive shift" in language on the issue of abortion in the Democratic Party platform.

A party platform typically mirrors the principles and policies of its presidential nominee. On the issue of abortion, the proposed platform does essentially that, stating that the Democratic Party:

"...strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to choose a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay, and we oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right."

"...strongly supports access to affordable family planning services and comprehensive age-appropriate sex education which empowers people to make informed choices and live healthy lives.

We also recognize that such health care and education help reduce the number of unintended pregnancies and thereby also reduce the need for abortions."

"...strongly supports a woman's decision to have a child by ensuring access to and availability of programs for pre- and post-natal health care, parenting skills, income support, and caring adoption programs."

Jim Wallis of Sojourners says the Democratic Platform Committee reached out to "moderate" evangelical and Catholic leaders to find "sorely needed common ground to reduce the need for abortion."

Florida mega-church pastor Joel Hunter, a registered Republican who calls himself a "conservative evangelical," says Senator Obama and the Democratic Party have taken "a historic and courageous step toward empowering women for an expanded range of choices and saving babies' lives." According to Hunter, "by supporting mothers whose will and conscience tells them to carry their babies to term," the Democrats have "broken through the narrow, traditional barrier that only focused on a women's right to choose abortion."

He continues: "They now support -- in writing and in legislation -- a woman's right to choose life, by offering her practical help in options ranging from prenatal care to healthy adoption."

Hunter contends that "cynical, partisan profiteers" will take issue with the tone of the plank. "Pro-lifers of both parties can now support Senator Obama on the basis that more lives will be saved than if they had just taken a moral stand hoping to overturn Roe v. Wade," states the Florida pastor.

Douglas Kmiec, the former dean of The Catholic University Law School and constitutional lawyer for Ronald Reagan, also praises the platform, saying it recognizes there is more than one way to discourage abortion. Kmiec supported Mitt Romney in the Republican primary, but has endorsed Obama for the general election.

Meanwhile, pro-life activists are less than thrilled with the proposed Democratic Party platform. Steven Ertelt of notes the proposed platform seeks the repeal of all state-level pro-life laws (see earlier article). He calls the reference to pre- and post-natal health care and income support nothing more than "political cover" that allows the party to say it supports childbirth and aid to pregnant women.

I find this very disturbing. They are literally trying to confuse voters and apparently Christians to vote for someone who plainly disregards human life. The man flip-flops so many times that I am getting nauseous from keeping up with him.

He is a deceiver and no amount of pressure from Catholic or Evangelical leaders will ever convince me to vote for someone who is incapable of making up his mind on any issue, cannot answer a seven-year-old child coherently, getting illegal funds, a forged birth certificate, and is worse than NARAL when it comes to murdering the unborn.

Yeah right.

Rambling today....

So, here we are still dealing with our home. We are waiting for the adjuster to come today and survey the damage to our home, let's see how that goes.

The day before the flood, I got pulled over driving down my street. I had noticed the policeman driving rather closely behind me while I was on a main road before turning down my street. Next thing I know I turn left and he hits his lights. I was driving the speed limit and wasn't sure what the heck was going on? I was so sick that day, I was anxious to lie down and rest. I guess all that stupid drainage upset my tummy, I did everything I could to keep my breakfast down.

So he walks up and I hand him my insurance and driver's license. He asked me if I was okay? I said, "No, I am very sick." He asked me what was wrong and I told him. He then said he would try and hurry up. I was pulled over for expired tags! We completely forgot to get them renewed! I got off with a warning. Praise God! And thank you very much to that sweet policeman who took pity on me and saving us $150! Although we were penalized for being late on our tags at the revenue office, so we did have to fork out $110. I am still grateful.

Yesterday, I am backing out in the parking lot at church and guess what? Yep! I hit a car behind me! Argh...... I backed right into it! I never saw it in my rear-view mirror! So, I looked around and was worried if anyone saw me hit it and nope the coast was clear for me to drive off!

No I didn't drive off, although a teeny-tiny part of me wanted to. I got out of my car to survey the damage and it took a lot of paint from my blazer's bumper and little a bit on the other cars. So, I took a deep breath and went in search of the owner of the vehicle. It took some time but I found the owner.

And thank goodness, the boys were not injured from the small bump.

I found him and brought him outside. He was so gracious! I couldn't believe it. He wiped off the smudge and it really wasn't too bad. You had to look closely to see the very minor damage. I asked him if he wanted to exchange insurance information. I kept on apologizing and he kept on saying, "It's okay darling, it's okay" he kept on assuring me. I felt horrible, because I was not paying attention, I was on my stupid cell phone trying to convince my hubby to have lunch with me and our boys. Serves me right for always griping about people driving with their cell phones attached their ears. I very rarely talk on the cell while driving and I figured I was safe pulling out in a parking lot. I learned my lesson.

He was more concerned about my boys and I being injured and was relieved that we were fine. It turns out that the car belongs to his ex-wife or estranged wife. I said we would pay for the damages and he said not worry about it because his "wife" was talking about letting the car go anyhow and that she would pocket the money. So, that was that. He let me off the hook.

He did say something that made me feel good. He was very surprised that I even reported the incident and that I did not drive off. I am not that kind of person. I was embarrassed that a few people began to gather around and tease me though. Glad it's all over.

Isn't God so good?

Oh, I have to share this! The man I was talking about above used to be a hard-core Neo Nazi, I believe that is what they are called or a member of the KKK. Well, he just happened to be driving by our church and thought he would give us a try. He had told us that he had been to others but was never accepted. So, he walks through the doors the day we are celebrating the Passover!! He began to ask a lot of questions and next thing we know he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, took his fellow Nazi friends to a Mexican restaurant and told them that he was through with this lifestyle. There is a lot more to his wonderful story. God has done miraculous things in his life, including curing him from lung cancer, no joke.

What a week...

On a personal note. My house flooded again! *tears* Last March as some of you know it flooded, due to an over-flowing toilet left to run on all night.

Well, Wednesday night I was bathing my little monkeys when I noticed a huge puddle in the hallway, I asked the boys if they did it and they replied that they didn't and I being a bad mommy didn't believe them, because a lot of times they get out of the tub and run around. So I bent down to clean up and as my foot placed pressure on the floor board more water seeped out!! Of course, my first reaction was to freak out and scream "O GOD! Please not again!" turns out our Air-conditioning unit was leaking water and well, all of our new floor boards had to be torn up, my kitchen floor is all torn up and my beautiful brand new vanity in the bathroom is water-damaged. *tears*

My throat is becoming sore from all the industrial fans blowing all over the place and two gigantic dehumidifiers are in the kitchen and livingroom. The air-conditioner is running non-stop because of the hot air fans. Oh well...

No more Labor day it has been replaced by Muslim holiday.

Residents of a Tennessee town are outraged over the decision
by a Tyson Foods poultry processing plant that would substitute a Muslim holiday for Labor Day.

According to the Shelbyville Times Gazette, members of the Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union wanted a new contract at the Shelbyville plant that "implements a new holiday to accommodate the...Muslim workers at the plant."

Tyson has confirmed that the new contract replaces Labor Day as a paid holiday with a Muslim holiday that corresponds with the end of Ramadan. The company says the new contract will still provide eight paid holidays, which is the same as the old contract.

Brian Mosley is the reporter for the Times Gazette who
originally broke the story, which was picked up by the Associated Press. He says Shelbyville residents are very angry that Labor Day has been replaced.

"I would say the community at large...are...outraged, enraged. Very, very angry comments have been posted on our website," he details. "My e-mail box has been flood[ed]. There are people calling for boycotts of Tyson Foods, things like that."

But Mosley notes that he has received a few messages in favor of the decision. "...[B]ut they're in the great minority," he adds.

Tyson spokesman Libby Lawson wishes to make it clear that the contract only affects about 1,000 of the 1,200 workers at the Shelbyville plant and not Tyson Foods as a whole.

So, basically, Tyson Foods took it upon themselves to change an American national holiday to accomodate Muslims. Now you tell me, would they do the same for American workers in their own country? NO! Of course NOT!

I am truly fed up with this bs! It's like nothing is valued any longer in America. Traditional values has gone out the window, Christianity is spit on, and now everytime some minority group comes and demands things, we fall back and hand them what they want on a silver platter and not giving a hoot about who it may offend.

What happen to American pride? What happened to protecting what is ours? Why is it all of sudden that we are forced to tolerate intolerable circumstances?

Is this what our American soldiers have fought and died for? Is this what our forefathers wanted?

What's your answer?

I was going to talk about Army Wives but my dear friend Layla beat me to the punch. I am only going to say this...they lost a huge fan.

I drove up to my favorite coffee drive thru "Shadarachs" buying my regular soy snickers latte...still drinking it now as I type this out...mmmmmm soooo good.

Anyhoo, the owner is a Christian, as if you couldn't guess from the name of the establishment, and a friend, anyhoo he asked me something that had me stop and think.

He asked, me "Does God want us to have happiness or holiness?"

Sounds simple enough, but think about it, okay? My answer, after a few seconds of pondering over this was "holiness"

Why? Because I reasoned, we were told in the bible that we would we have tribulations, so that means unhappiness, then if you look at Noah, Moses and even our Lord Jesus Christ, they suffered greatly, Noah building an arc for many, many years, Moses living in the wilderness constantly dealing with whining people and our Savior who died a most brutal death, so yeah, you know they were not happy during those trying times, however, once things ended and they saw the finishing product there was joy. So yeah, there is unhappiness. This doesn't mean God wants us unhappy not at all, just letting us know we are not paradise, yet, for those who believe.

And we are promised joy in heaven for eternity, no more tears, no more hunger or sadness all will be washed away.

What does the bible say? That we are to abstain from evil.

So, there is my answer, what's yours?

It's Friday!! I am so ready for the weekend! Here is a wonderful YouTube video that had me bawling like a baby.
Have a blessed weekend and see you all on MONDAY!
